Assessments and International Benchmarking Tests

Assessments are an important and integral part of learning. Each student is evaluated through a series of observations and tasks.

At IIS assessment takes many forms including lesson-by-lesson informal assessments, class work, homework, projects, individual and group work, research, presentations, and tests of skills, knowledge, and understanding.

At our school, we conduct International Benchmarking Tests (IBT) for students from Grade 3 onwards, such as CAT4, ASSET, IBT Arabic, and PISA - this helps us to monitor our students and the school’s performance at an international, national & regional level with actionable insights through easy-to-understand reports.
